Manifattura big has been funded in 2019 as the result of the merging operation between two historic company: the scarf division of Lanificio Bisentino, a wool mill founded in 1944, and GIBIWEAR, founded in 1985 and specialized in the production of scarves and accessories for brands and luxury’s companies.
Manifattura big is based in Tuscany, in Prato to be precise, one of the biggest textile district of Europe. All the production process is proudly 100% made in Italy.
We collaborate with many brands all over the world, our main markets are Italy, France, North Europe, USA and Japan.
Manifattura big scarves are entirely produce in Italy: we source the raw materials from all over the world and we transform them in cosy and luxury fashion accessories. We mainly use natural fibres like wool, cashmere, alpaca, cotton, linen and mohair and we pay a lot of attention in improving the sustainability of our company and our products.
We also use regenerated materials like regenerated wool and regenerated cashmere in order to reduce the impact of our processes on the environment.
