FALL/WINTER 2017-2018 COLLECTION
A collection created to please women and to reflect their mood. Joyful like “Gioia” and “Grinta”, serious but not too serious like “Essential” and “Minimal”, strong and sure of themselves like “Unica”, “Folk” and “Impero” and “Naplak”.
Firm shoulder bags, baguette bags, camera bags…a collection that features must-have shapes, made in precious materials and with finishing touches that are even more precious, if such a thing is possible.
The colours: black, blue, burgundy and winter white. MUSYA wants to tell 8 tales:
UNICA: unique, one-of-a-kind bags in python: a prized material that makes each piece unique, because every mark is different and makes the bags one-offs.
The forms are accentuated by the ponyskin edges, which delimit and emphasise, with the depth of the matte contrasting with the shiny and intriguing interaction of the leathers.
FOLK: the prints on leather are inspired by a lively woman who interpets her elegance joyfully, sometimes playfully. Ethnic-look prints in full 2D-effect colours. Black, blue, burgundy and white are joined by sky blue, in little artistic brushstrokes.
The edges framing the placed prints are in ponyskin: here too there is an interplay of matte and gloss, reflecting and refracting, creating a line of communication between the naplak finish for leathers and the three-dimensional effect of the ponyskin on the edges.
IMPERO: the prints on leather are strong thanks to the simple lines: they are in plain chalk white, for an ethnic look that is moderated by graphic touches and softened by the flower shapes.
NAPLAK: constant forms, the leitmotif of the collection. The flap stitching features the deep silkiness of velvet, for a style that is precious but never ostentatious, because the details always make a difference.
ESSENTIAL: simple yet sophisticated, made from pure leather. The shoulder bag chains are precious and “dressed” with a strip of nappa leather. Horsehair charms, real dreamcatchers for every woman. Zips that become a decorative motif.
MINIMAL: clean, minimalist lines on a timeless leather bag. Rigid forms that go with daytime and evening looks and that are ageless: adored by the youngest women as well as by career managers, they are a little jewel, whatever the time of day.
GIOIA: python once again to give the simple lines and rigid forms more verve. The shiny satin strip stitching is chic, this time with an interplay of “shine on shine”, framing the flaps. Small jewels… or jewellery holders.
GRINTA: a full and eye-catching line, but one that is never over the top, with a well-balanced exuberance. Python and Mongolia fur: powerful, but not overblown.
